Rewinding 2009: Fashion Leak features I Love Factory

I Love Factory, Laurel St.Romain and Christopher Garbushian, are New York based. They design and hand sew each delightful headpiece. Jacqueline had meet Laurel St.Romain several years ago through a mutual friend and talented photographer, Daniel Cavazos

Fashion Leaks video & interview with I Love Factory was filmed in Brooklyn at Fast Ashely's Studio. Micheal Abrego, good friend and photographer took the I Love Factory photos, I Love Factory's creative and supportive friends, We Came In Peace art directed, styled and modeled, makeup and hair provided by Nicole Greener, and Jacqueline, Michelle, and Tommy Lucas filmed the interview and atmosphere. The music was provided by Belaire and editing by uLovei.

The Beginning: Belaire- You Really Got Me Goin featured song in the I Love Factory/ Fashion Leak video

Austin band Belaire song, 'You Really Got Me Goin', was featured for Fashion Leaks video with our wonderful friends and amazing designers I Love Factory, Laurel St.Romain and Christopher Garbushian. Thank you Indierect Records and Belaire for sharing this fun song!

Fashion Leaks first video with Boudoir Queen featuring music by The White White Lights

Fashion Leak's first video and photo set featuring Boudoir Queen's  clothing was shot on the coldest day early March 2009. Models Whitney Jardine and Ceci Mireles are the most amazing models to work with. This was filmed in front of a school in Austin by Jameel Ghaddar, photographed by Jean Philippe-Martin, music by The White White Lights (recently voted as one of the Top 10 Bands in 2010 and Best New Local Band by The Austin Chronicle), and featuring clothes by Boudoir Queen.

The Beginning: Back Stage with The Boudior Queen Beauties

Jacqueline Fernandez, Founder and Creative Director for Fashion Leak and BleachOnline, also specializes in professional makeup artistry. She was introduced to clothing designer Dawn Younger-Smith of Boudoir Queen by their mutual friend and model muse, Whitney Jardine. She was asked to do makeup for Boudoir Queen on numerous events including Sounds and Style with The Sounds, an Etsy profile video on her and other fashion shows.

Dawn Younger-Smith was the ideal artist to feature on Fashion Leak because she is an independent designer, even though Boudoir Queen's brand is successful, carries an impressive clientele and has been featured in the press locally and globally.

"Spreading the visions and works of influential and independent designers and crafters." -Fashionleak

On November 7th, Fashion Leak hosted a "Meet & Greet" at Buy Definition with designers: John Renaud, I Love Factory (Laurel St.Romain & Christopher Garbushian), and Boudoir Queen (Dawn Younger-Smith). Monster Girl performed cover songs from artist, Tom Waits. Dagny Piasecki modeled Boudoir Queen's latest collection 'mini KIMONO' and an I Love Factory head piece. All our guests enjoyed Platinum Liqueur while mingling and watching Fashion Leak designers video on a projector. Everyone left delighted with a homemade goody bag made with love by Buy Definition owner, Esti Choi.
